Police Identify Murder Victims

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) can now confirm the identities of the two people who succumbed to injuries sustained in the shooting incident which took place inside the Legends bar, Sandys, around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2025.

 

They are, 32-year-old, Jasmine Smith and 29-year-old, Shaquan Williams.

 

The BPS extends condolences the families of the deceased.

 

The investigation regarding this incident is ongoing and the BPS is grateful to those persons who have already come forward to assist with inquiries.

 

However, we are appealing for anyone with any information who may not yet have reached out, to please contact the Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector (DCI) Derricka Burns.
