Sexual Assault Witness appeal
At around 7:00 a.m. on Sunday 20th September, police responded to a report of a sexual assault in the area of Fairylands Road Junction, Pitts Bay Road, Pembroke.
The female victim told police she was sexually assaulted at knife point by a male who attacked her as she made her way to work.
The assault was thwarted by a passerby who contacted police.
The suspect fled the scene, riding north along Pitts Bay Road on a red motorcycle, with the license plate covered. Anyone who may have seen a male riding a red motorcycle with the license plate covered, in the Pitts Bay Road, Pembroke area shortly after 7:00 a.m. yesterday, Sunday, 20th September, is asked to call the Crime Division on 247-1340, the main police number, 295-0011 or leave a tip on our independent and confidential Crime Stoppers number, 800-8477.
Police are also appealing for residents of the area with CCTV cameras, to please review the footage on their devices for any suspicious activity, or, footage of a male riding a red motorcycle with the license plate covered and contact police via the above numbers this footage can be uploaded via our online platform anonymously.
