Unsolved Murder- Shaundae Winston JONES

The Bermuda Police Service is investigating the unsolved murder of Shaundae Jones, who was murdered on 27th of April 2003, outside the nightclub formerly known as Club Malabar in Dockyard, Sandys Parish. The incident (shooting) took place shortly after 3.00am as patrons were filtering out of the nightclub.

 

Shaundae Jones was 20 years old at the time of his death. The investigation has determined that Jones left Club Malabar and walked across the road to where a friend’s car was parked and waited for a ride home. Suddenly, an unknown person wearing long baggy blue jeans, a red jacket, dark coloured helmet with a visor and something wrapped around the lower portion of their face approached Jones and shot him in the chest at point- blank range. Jones was initially conveyed to Port Royal Fire Station for treatment before arriving at KEMH where he was pronounced dead.

 

There were numerous persons in the area at the time of the incident and despite an extensive investigation, Detectives have been unable to resolve the case. Crime Stoppers are again appealing to the public for information that may help solve this crime.
