Murder Investigation Underway After 18-Year-Old Man Found Shot Dead
The Bermuda Police Service can confirm it has begun a murder investigation into the death of an eighteen-year-old male, whose lifeless body was found at Southside earlier today (Wednesday, 6th April 2022). A passer-by contacted police shortly after 6:30 this morning and reported there was an unresponsive male lying near the roundabout on the roadway leading to Clearwater Beach. Around 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, 26th February, 2022, police stopped a nineteen-year-old male for traffic related offences. Subsequent inquires revealed the subject had a number of outstanding warrants. A twenty-eight-year-old woman is currently warded at King Edward Hospital, recovering from a knife wound sustained during a fracas in the early hours of Sunday 27th February 2022. The Bermuda Police Service (BPS), has commenced a murder investigation into the death of a 49-year-old male, who passed away after being involved in an altercation that occurred around 4:35 p.m. yesterday, Wednesday, 2nd February 2022, in the area of Shelly Bay Field, Hamilton Parish.
