The Bermuda Police Service (BPS), has commenced a murder investigation into the death of a 49-year-old male, who passed away after being involved in an altercation that occurred around 4:35 p.m. yesterday, Wednesday, 2nd February 2022, in the area of Shelly Bay Field, Hamilton Parish.

The victim was transported via ambulance to King Edward Hospital, where he was attended to for head injuries sustained during the altercation.

However, he was subsequently pronounced dead. A 46-year-old-male has been arrested in connection with this incident.
