FIREARMS INCIDENT

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS), continues to make inquiries into the shooting incident that occurred
about 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday the 29th December 2021, outside of a residence on Mount Hill Road,
Pembroke. The investigation is progressing and several lines of inquiry are being pursued.

The B.P.S. is looking for witnesses to this shooting to make contact with the Senior
Investigating Officer, Acting Detective Inspector Jason Smith. In particular, ADI Smith is appealing for area
residents who have CCTV Cameras as well as anyone who may have heard or seen a bike, moments
before the shooting with two persons, dressed in dark clothing riding along Mount Hill Road, to please
get in contact with him.

Police are also looking for information regarding a fight that occurred outside the victim’s residence on Boxing Day
between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. Any witnesses to this fight and or persons with information on who was
involved in the fight are critical to this investigation.
