Police received several calls reporting gunshots heard in the area of Deepdale Road and Parsons Road, Pembroke, around 7:45 pm on January 12, 2022. Upon arrival at the scene, officers recovered a number of spent shells near a private residence on Deepdale Road west. There were no reported injuries and checks with King Edward Hospital, confirmed no one had attended the facility seeking treatment for gunshot wounds. Reports are two individuals on a silver-grey colored motorcycle, were seen leaving the area shortly after the incident. One of them is believed to have been dressed in a grey tracksuit. This is the third such incident in this area in recent times and the Bermuda Police Service urges anyone with information to please call 211, the main police number, 295-0011, or Crime Stoppers on 800-8477; a local charity that utilizes an overseas anonymous tip line and website.
