Crime Stoppers Bermuda need your help to solve the murder shooting of 31 year old Jahni Outerbridge who was tragically shot dead near the Mid-Atlantic Boat Club, North Shore Road, Devonshire.

At about 11:20pm on Sunday 29th January 2017, Jahni left the Mid-Atlantic Boat Club, North Shore, Devonshire (where there were about 50 patrons still gathered). When he left the club he was reportedly with two friends. Jahni walked toward and stood in the parking lot for a small period of time. As he did so, a lone individual ran down into the parking area from North Shore Road toward Jahni. This person pulled a gun and, at close range, shot Jahni, who fell where he stood. The killer then ran back toward North Shore Road and escaped after fleeing in a westward direction along that road.

Police and other emergency responders rushed to the scene. Jahni was immediately taken to hospital by ambulance where sadly, he succumbed to his injuries.

Because of what was learned from the investigation, police need information from anyone (possibly who drove along the section of North Shore Road between Barker’s Hill and Dock Hill at that time) who may have seen this suspect. This could prove very helpful in identifying who carried out this heinous shooting. Also helpful to this investigation would be any other person who came into contact with Jahni on the day of the shooting.

Jahni was a very well loved individual, particularly in the Cedar Park area. He was very dear to his family, especially his mother, brothers, sisters, family and friends. Please help Crime Stoppers with any information you have concerning this terrible shooting murder that has heartbreakingly taken Jahni from his family and friends. Despite current police efforts to solve this crime to this point, much more information is needed to help this investigation reach its ultimate aim, to catch Jahni’s killer and bring them (and anyone else who may have been involved) to justice.
